Unfortunately for us, these frauds are always using the latest and most elaborated methods you can imagine to get their hands on our personal information. When something sounds too good to be true, you better be suspicious before providing any sensitive data like your social security number.

Whenever you’re asked for private information like your social security number or bank account details, you better take a step back and take a close look at what you’re dealing with. Who are they? Why do they need that info? That kind of information isn’t needed for any regular website. If you have any doubts, report it to FTC immediately.
